Do you remember where I work?

Kapsch company. started operations in 2003 in Chile,  given the need of integrate toll collection systems on new highways projects in Santiago, Kapsch presented a new and revolucionary system called MLFF, multi lane free flow. being the strong product and sold all over the world.
  This consists in paying toll without need to stop in  highway at high speeds untill 200 km/h.
a set of sensors and cameras implemented in a gantry detect an OBU (on board unit) installed in a car, when this car passes through this gantry these sensors take the dimensions and capture the plate number, read the information saved in the OBU and compare both datas. if everething is OK, a correct pay has been done, if not, a  image is saved for a manual recognition.  All data is captured and processed in a Central System that sends an invoice to the address registered of each car.

Other products are being implemented like Parking systems, SOS call box and Open a barrier boom reading an OBU.

Favorite piece of technology

 After I’ve been out, I have come back for telling about a favorite piece of technology that I've got. 

Starting my childhood I used to play music with handcrafts instruments...jajaja, drums or guitars often were made by me. While I got growing, increasing too my interest by music. I remember, when I was a teen, I used borrow a radio player at my neighbour, I spent a lot of my free time listening music, recording favorite songs in tapes, so my parents gave me a Mini-component for Christmas, it was the better thing for me because I could use it each and every day.

  Now I’ve got a Hi-Fi audio system... Receiver, Deck, CD player, Turntable, Sound processor, I’ve bought them one to one and the only thing that I can say is “the sound is amazing”.

  I spend many hours mixing sound tracks applying sound effects like church echo.

It’s wonderful like coils, resistors and capacitors work together for give this quality sounds.

Using Computers

Well this post is for talking about computers, these are for making more easy our life, it´s almost unimaginable how could be live without this powerfull machine today.

   I use computers everyday at work, I use it for check emails, complete SDS´s costumers forms, check availability of spare parts, check toll systems alarms in remote sites.  if something is wrong or broken, we go quickly to face the emergency in site.

When the things are going well, is time for surfing on websites, chat with friends, post in blogs or make some comments on social pages like Facebook or Twitter. actually I´m using my computer for learnig English, watching videos and practice with some online quiz.

BBC website review

My english teacher recommended me an interesting site for learning English... the  BBC website.

In this we can find grammar, vocabulary & pronunciation exercises, a lot of videos can help us to practice our English.
For example, once finished the video, we can see some words used in the context, meaning of them, and pronunciation... better than better... everything is in English!
this is very important because we need forget spanish while we are in this site.
Travels, news, business, sport, fashion,  in a funny way will take you around english´s world

My name is Enrique and this is my first blog. I´m 38 years old, I work for Kapsch, a company dedicated to Toll systems, my position in the company is Senior Technician.

I love music, the beach, but trains... are my passion, so  I spend a lot of my free time on my lifelong hobby.
